Thursday, May 19, 2022 - Nose is grapefruit, honey, nectarine. A little grassy as well--lots of sauvignon blanc character on the nose. The Semillon comes in with the rich texture and medium acid. 70% sauvignon blanc, 30% Semillon. Very nice, but I could see this unwinding quite a bit with time. For now, it's a really nice example of a fresh white Bordeaux, albeit with a sturdy texture to back up the fruit.
