Monday, April 3, 2023 - Heater week; 3/26/2023-4/3/2023 (Chicago, IL): Wow. Hands down the best bottle of young Cappellano I've had. Ethereally light and lifted red fruit, just the right amount of sweetness, and a maddeningly crystalline profile. Right on the pop and pour, the tannins were quite soft and hidden in the background; with air, the immense structure undergirding all that top-level crystalline fruit became more apparent. One for the ages.
