Went well with the Veal Osso Bucco Ravioli. The nose opened up and the freshness emerged on the palate. At 14.5% ABV, the alcohol was a bit aggressive. Fruity notes became more apparent with the Porterhouse steak. Yum! When dessert came around, I passed and opted for more Mascot wine! At the end, we had about half of a bottle remaining for the next day. The overnight aeration mellowed the tannins some more and made it a really pleasant drink. Definitely worth having in the collection. For my tastes, could do with more time in the cellar.
