Friday, December 4, 2020 - Very forward and generous at this early stage, with textbook fried bacon, raspberry jam, and deep violet fragrances. The palate is broad, even buttery, with ripe hot climate Syrah flavours of inky black and blue fruits, sweaty saddle, and salty toasty peanutbuttery flavours. Very attractive, made in a flirty but not silly style, drinks very well right now but will surely age gracefully. Tasted alongside Tardieu-Laurent V.V., Ogier le passage, and Ferraton SJ lieu-dit, all from the same vintage.
