Tuesday, August 17, 2021 - Bought 4b for 15/b from a local independent shop just now; this is #1. Light gold; white stone fruits, hint of oak that follow on the palate, body less giving than nose, good mouthfeel. Past vintages of the Blanc have been more full-bodied and Bdx-like so I was surprised; also surprised to see this price (SRP = 38/b). It held well over 3 days but never evolved. This wine ages well so we'll see if it blossoms over time. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and price.
