Monday, June 8, 2020 - 95% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wonderful wine was medium ruby in appearance with medium viscosity. The nose was of medium intensity and smelled of red fruits including cherry and cranberry, figs, potting soil, roasted tomato, balsamic, and marjoram. Mouthfeel was medium bodied with firm tannin and nice acidity. On the palate it was light on fruit notes but pronounced cherry, sun-dried tomatoes, dirt, espresso, and smoke. Beautiful wine whose characteristics, flavors, and aromas encapsulate Italy. Amazing QPR and easily one of the top 5 kosher wines under $25, if not the best. 91-92. Bravo!
