I was close by saying cab sav
I buy a couple every yr and have not been disappointed
It is really good wine
I will continue to buy more

3/12/2023 3:34:00 PM - I always buy a few also. The 2007 was my all time favourite. I was at a Legacy vertical recently (14, 15, 16, 17, 18). The 14 was good, 15 the best , 16 decent, seventeen not so good and 18 way too young.

It is very fun to compare wine at the same time, same mood, same pairings, same friends.
Is there a wine you want to compare the different vintages?
I have not been cellaring wine long enough to build up that kind of tasting, but some of the wineries have offered events like you describe .

4/5/2023 6:15:00 PM - The vertical events are usually a group effort. I have a vertical of Painted Rock Red Icon and Nota Bene. I think blends are great for doing vertical blind tastings because the percentages of varietal usually changes vintage to vintage. I usually attend (and host a few) six blind tastings per year.
