Tuesday, May 11, 2021 - Super light wine. And a variety that I had not enjoyed before. This poured a dark ruby red into the glass. The nose was red fruit and oak spice. The entry is red fruit. Cherry Luden's cough drop, even a little bit of eucalyptus here as well. Finishes with good acidity, quite tannic (almost finishes like a super youthful charbono that's trying to rip the enamel off your teeth). I did enjoy this wine, although I can definitely say that I had to pace myself with everything else on the table that day.
