Sunday, April 9, 2023 - It’s a fine line for the winemaker, balancing ripe fruit, extraction, acidity, but the Kistler team always seems to pull it off handily. White peaches, pineapple, mango, all in great balance with mouthwatering acidity. Nice streak of minerality and crushed limestone adds to the complexity. Every now and then I’m in the mood for a big Cali chard and this one always delivers.
