Saturday, February 13, 2021 - Revisting ABC: Tasted alongside 2016 Chardonnay Nuits-Blanches au Bouge and 2015 Chardonnay "30th Vintage" Sanford & Benedict... subtle stone fruit aromatics didn't point to a varietal for any of us with that heavy dose of high quality french oak aromas. on the palate firm and serious in style with plenty of acids and plenty of oak tannins... low alcohol. after 3 days of being opened this opened up quite a bit and got very overtly aromatic and the varietal components of this wine sung.
