Amazing white, with a taste of oak, butter, brioche and some bitter citrus in the ending. A fantastic 6 year old wine and good qpr! A definite recommendation

Wow what a wine. I’ve read a few positive notes on CT and spoke to a few people in various wineshops, who all raved about this wine. I have to say I share their enthusiasm. From the moment I opened the bottle this was singing, but I poured a glass and left it for c.1hr, and the wine had evolved amazingly. Like a few comments on here, this reminded me of a good quality white Burgundy, but it has no Chardonnay! Deep-ish yellow colour, and quite a thick wine. Some proper tears in the glass when giving it a swirl. The nose has ripe yellow fruits and spice / oak, with some minerals, but all with ample freshness. On the palate much of the same with a long after taste. One of the best whites I’ve had in a while. Had it with grilled swordfish fillets and a parsley vinaigrette dressing as a starter. As a main course, we had rainbow trout with grilled cherry tomatoes and lemon garlic sauce. The wine went so well with both dishes. The meatiness of the swordfish was countered by the body of the wine. And the trout swimming it its butter-based sauce brought out the best of the wine as well. I really recommend this wine. I’m keen to get some more, but it is hard to come by. If you do come across it, and are willing to pay c.£40 for a bottle, go for it. You will not regret it!!

summer flowers to start. Absolutely charming and complex array of fruit, with different notes ebbing an flowing with each sip. There is clearly something tropical here, but apple and citrus dominate, and even there sometimes seeming riper, sometimes leaner. New oak protrudes a bit from the middle to finish, so i will hold my remaining bottle until 2024 or later, at which point everything will likely be more seamless. Av revoir, Jim!

Revisting ABC: Tasted alongside 2016 Chardonnay Nuits-Blanches au Bouge and 2015 Chardonnay "30th Vintage" Sanford & Benedict... subtle stone fruit aromatics didn't point to a varietal for any of us with that heavy dose of high quality french oak aromas. on the palate firm and serious in style with plenty of acids and plenty of oak tannins... low alcohol. after 3 days of being opened this opened up quite a bit and got very overtly aromatic and the varietal components of this wine sung.

Tasting at Au-Bon Climat: Bright and lively aromas - lemongrass, citrus zest and crushed minerals. Rich and luscious fruit on the palate with a mineral and spice edge. Solid depth.

Crisp green apple, tart pear, hint of lemon. Saline citrus finish. Mouth watering acidity. Hits the spot. Good with seafood

Such a good white! Butter, spices, oak - one of my favorites. My recommendation is to let it breathe for two hours before drinking.

A fun wine with varietal correct characteristics, wax, verbena, citrus and apricot notes.

Happy I got these. Nice classy burgundy style white, although no chardonnay here. Peach and exotic fruits, long finish and apricots. Very nice

Pale; some oak, lively, zesty; mid-weight, thrilling acidity/nervosity. Extremely long, lush yet poised finish. Now & next couple of years.

Mid straw; plenty of oak, polished; glossy, full bodied, unrestrained, juicy acidity; may need more time, though monolithic.
