Saturday, February 24, 2024 - 1st of 3 bottles purchased on relase from the winery, ~90 mins slow ox. Interesting nose shows sour red cherries, smoke, clay and cigar. Plenty of soft and well-resolved tannins provide a dry, lengthy finish and lots of backbone. This packs a genteel punch in its resolve and depth of fruit that comes across much darker than id have gathered from the nose.

While I have long been a Dumol fan, I have a little experience with Jentoff and have to imagine this is just beginning to enter the heart of its drinking window.
