Saturday, June 25, 2022 - Backup bottle for the corked ‘17 Terre Nere Aetna Bianco Caldera Sottana. The nose really takes some coaxing; mostly mineral, with some white fruit, flowers and citrus. Those scents amplify in the palate, and crescendo into a long, tingly acid finish. Great food wine, great wine for our first warm weekend of the year, and an all around nice bottle of Carricante.
