Community Tasting Note

Sunday, April 23, 2023 - Had my second and last bottle last night. Almost identical tasting notes as when I wrote it for 8/2021, the wine has had more time to develop in bottle, more elegant and balanced. The nose is still incredible with lychee, lemon, pineapple, cantaloupe, refined acidity and a nice finish that is all built to pair with food, especially with seafood or pork that already has some intensity in the sweet sour savory umami territories of profiles . As with any vintage of this, hold for much longer to reap best rewards. Sadly didn’t get to enjoy this fully as my bottle was unfortunately shared, and my glass was gone before I could pour myself extra as there were a a few savages at the dinner table. You know, the type that don’t bring wine but will gladly drink your gold and fill the glass 3/4 way then down it like competition shots. Share only with people who appreciate and understand.
