Thursday, January 18, 2024 - Nose of a melange of red fruits, tobacco and floral aromas to a lesser extent. Palate of wood, tea, cassis, blueberries. There was quite a bit of oakiness to this bottle. Tannins were present, but not too harsh, approachable at present. I enjoyed it but it fell a little short of expectations. Perhaps a couple more years of aging would make it more seamless.
