Tuesday, November 5, 2019 - A blend of 92% Carmenere and 8% Petit Verdot, the 2017 is tightly wound at this stage with perfumed dark berry, herb, grilled red pepper, and wood spice aromas. It's medium-full bodied with very good fruit concentration and lovely, balanced aroma replays framed by elegant tannins. Acids are well-balanced. Excellent length with savoury touches on the finish. I would tuck this away for a couple of years and drink to 2030.
