Saturday, November 14, 2020 - The 2017 Purple Angel is showing a medium concentrated purple appearance in the glass. The wine has a big and warm nose full of sweet cherry, grapefruit, pomegranate and mint, with hints of white pepper and a slight medicinal note. The palate presents you with great mouth watering acidity and soft tannins. The wine is balanced with a long lingering finish. It could use a year or two to really show its potential. Drink now (with a short decant) through 2030
