Friday, March 1, 2024 - Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. I was skeptical, given how firm most 2005s are still today, but wow, what a pleasant surprise. So charming, so engaging, this has gobs of bright red fruit with silky structure in the near background. Very good length. Very good already now, with further upside.
