Sunday, August 23, 2020 - Another solid wine from Runquist. Although their "Z" Massoni Ranch zin is not my favorite Runquist offering, it's still a well made zin. Aroma of sweet raspberry and black plum. On the palate, it's mid weight with tart cherry and some strawberry, definitely classic zin. I didn't get any sweetness as another poster commented, it could have been that specific bottle. The finish was mid weight as well. Easy to drink zin. Nothing ground breaking like a Bedrock or Carlisle zin, but for the price, it's a great value.
