Friday, August 1, 2014 - Very dark red color. PNP with aeration out of bottle. Drank 2 glasses over 90 minutes. The nose has some nice dark fruit, cassis, blackberry, a sweet blackberry pie note, spices. The palate is dense and full bodied with a nice core of black fruit, brambly, blackberry, cassis, blackberry liqueur, lots of anise and spice on the medium plus finish. 91+ to 92 pts.
