Wednesday, January 15, 2014 - 1989 Barolo and Barbaresco Single Blind (I Trulli Restaurant, NYC): [Opened at 6pm.] Gorgeous black fruit and spice. Sweet in the mouth. A beautiful wine from a producer I had not heard of before.

I understand it, I suppose (in the ..."Selection" aspect of it all), just haven't seen it before

2/13/2014 1:47:00 PM - You are correct, Wine-Strategies. I don't know where that name came from in CT. The bottle I had is the one pictured here. And the note from Eric Guido is from the same bottle. It is not a reserve or riserva of any kind as far as I can tell.
