Saturday, August 18, 1990 - With Michael Lehmann and Brett Raven at Singer & Foy survey of new California wines. Yellow gold. Pretty light color. Excellent; complex, toasty, barnyardy nose like Chassagne-Montrachet. Not too intense though. In the mouth, buttery; unfolds in the mouth. Seems ligher than other vintages. Not what I expected. 5-11-15-7: 88/100
