Sunday, April 19, 2020 - Dark garnet. Lovely nose. Bordeaux esque. Has some structure. Black fruits. Plums. Chocolate with air. Flamboyant. Some heat/ripeness but no way modern new world (many thought a warm bordeaux year or possibly super tuscan). Without doubt the best US Napa I have ever had. Makes you think what US wines could be like if they were not all over the top these days. At 12.5%, this is a delight. The storage was impeccable.
