Friday, July 28, 2023 - Superbly lifted and pronounced aromas of violet, raspberry, orange peel, warm baking spices, ripe stem, toast, and forest floor. Medium+ acidity, medium slightly grippy tannins, and medium finish. The palate, appropriate for the level, did not match the exceptional nose, but overall it still greatly exceeded expectations. I could still taste the wine when licking my palate on the way home. No wonder this stuff costs so much now…
