Saturday, January 23, 2021 - From a good looking C&E bottle, this wine had a deep yellow/light gold center with clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth custard, white stone, lemon, and apples.

This wine improved for a couple hours in a decanter. It started out quite rich but quickly developed intense acidity and fantastic minerality. The length was very impressive.

This bottle was absolutely nails. While certainly at a peak, it should last at this level for 5 years or so. This wine has proved to be a bit variable. However, when it is on it is hard to beat.
