Friday, March 29, 2024 - Purchased beginning of June 2021 at the winery’s restaurant, 6 weeks before the devastating flood and patiently cellared since. Very appealing nose, blackberry, raspberry, cherry, elegant and yet subtle oak, a touch of tobacco. Similar fruit on the palate, foremost dark berries. Almost bold for a Pinot Noir (and I am not referring to alcohol). Minerals, medium tannins, graceful balance. Gave this 6+ hours air and it felt that it needed it. A real treat! 92-93
