Saturday, June 19, 2021 - Splash double decant. Deep dark magenta color. Coffee grounds and blackberry on the tight nose. Smooth, dry palate. Firm, full tannins on the long finish.
This is very youthful, but all the raw materials are there. Needs two years and/or a very serious decant (4+ hours).

6/22/2021 7:16:00 PM - I think it needs more years, J. I went back for more when it was open 3+ hours and it was actually backing up just a bit. It's a big time quality wine, I just have an issue with the price point. Seems just a tad outrageous, to me.
