Wednesday, September 16, 2020 - First time trying 2018s from Bachelet-Monnot. Quite reductive and shut down for the first 20 minutes, but then starts to unfurl. By end of 1.5 hrs open it had really cohered into a lovely villages with good freshness and balance. A bit more Puligny than Chassagne to me. Does not show heat of the year but should drink well young but give it a year or two.
