Tuesday, July 2, 2019 - Pop and pour, consumed over 2 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blackberry and spice with undertones of mushrooms and dark earth. Palate: Medium-full bodied, earthy and spicy dark fruit attack, forest floor and mushrooms join the flavor profile in the mid-palate, back-end shows a nice spice driven lift. Finish: Medium-plus length dominated by ripe dark fruit, spice, mushrooms and forest floor. This is drinking wonderfully at the moment, definitely peaked but has aged spectacularly.
