85 Points

Thursday, September 3, 2015 - Ruby core with some tawney edges developing. Delicate nose, but actually showing a decent core of sweet cassis, and subtle flashes of green peppers and dried leaf & spice. Palate is medium to light bodied, can come across as thin (ish), though general structure is still fairly intact. Very straightforward, certainly not a great wine, but not the write-off some others seem to have experienced. Unlikely to get much better from here, but "ok" claret for a few years yet.
