92 Points

Sunday, July 30, 2017 - Massive extraction, ripeness and lifted aromas. A nice amalgamation of old-school Barossa Shiraz, with its sweet, coconuty American oak and sweet and forward fruit, alongside an intense fruit purity, highish alcohol (14.5%) and a really strong tannic background that no doubt will give this wine an excellent ageing profile. Thick and intense. Pair this with simple food, such as grilled steak, and this will show vert well. Put it together with a more complicated dish, and the wine may easily compete. This will be lots of fun to follow. I have high hopes for improvement 92+
