Thursday, March 31, 2022 - From glass. Color more advanced seeming, texture on eye thin seeming. Nose primarily of sharp glycerol, with earthy red fruit far away. Nose sweetening before first sip, on which there's leathers and red fruits and diffuse, fine tannin. Approachable. Possessed of a fine-ness. Was this my first Gaja? At any rate, none of the over-extracted "modern-ness" I thought that those wines were known for. Good wine.
