Saturday, June 6, 2020 - The reticent nose offers aronas of creme brûlée, pineapple, mango and green apple. Medium bodied with a structure that shows some oak influence and combines juicy acid with a mean streak of slate minerality. The flavor profile is pure and clean, featuring sweet Meyer lemon, white tea, tangerine, honeysuckle, white peach, green apple and a nice dose of sea salt. This took a few hours to evolve out of an initially oak-driven profile, but after that complexities and levity began to show. The vintage shows a lot of promise for a very young vineyard, and could stand another 3-5 years of age to fully develop.
