Thursday, August 3, 2023 - Served blind. Bright in color with tons of tropical fruit, a hint of reduction, and moderate acid. I immediately thought this could be Alsace Riesling or even Chenin, as Sauv Blanc isn't exactly a wine my friend buys (then again, neither are Alsace Riesling/Chenin). A bit hollow on the palate, which threw me off. Regardless, this was delicious, and pretty confusing!

Surprise reveal as Mondavi I Block, a wine I'd been eager to try. Awesome blind, and a great experience to finally try this!
