Wednesday, March 13, 2024 - JG’s mainly Barolo 2018s (Terra Rossa, London N1): Almost intoxicating smoke and yellow fruits on the nose that carry over on to the palate. Substantial concentration and scale yet I find that I would prefer more fresh acidity and perhaps the higher abv (13.5%) shows a little. Still, a nice wine that grew on me.
