Saturday, March 30, 2024 - Inky royal purple color. Nose is blackberry pie, herbal and chocolatey. Hard to say how a young wine could find better balance. Incredibly pure fruit, acid, fine tannins and structured. Black and blue fruited and graphitic. A little tar and anise. Beautiful and long finish. Near the top of the 2019s I've had so far.

Thinking this is a drink more soon or lay down for a while situation.
Seemed most open for business in the first four hours. Tightened up a bit after that.
