Friday, October 15, 2021 - My first RunRig in probably 5 years. Opened for 2 hours. Color is deep garnet/purple. ON the nose: Pepper, plums, cedar, cassis and espresso. On the palate: Rich ripe Plums, pepper, cassis, prune and espresso. Massive flavors of very ripe fruit. Wine is viscous and coating. This is a big boy. Not jammy but fruit is big and explosive. I prefer Northern Rhône style but this is very very good for a change of pace. I have 2 more bottles which I will let age a bit.
