Saturday, April 2, 2022 - Method: pop and pour (Coravin), red wine glass

Look: deep garnet, light bricking; few, fast legs

Nose: black cherry, wet forest floor, graphite, bell pepper, paprika, tobacco

Palate: bell pepper, paprika, dried black cherry, dried herbs; lacks a bit of midpalate; finish of leather, dried herbs; dry; medium+ heavy suede-like tannin; medium acidity

Overall thoughts: Great complexity and flavor and great structure, but lacking a bit of midpalate. Great wine.
