Sunday, January 15, 2017 - Mature Bordeaux All blind and from Magnums except Pichon Baron and La Mission HB: Red to brick color. Much younger on the nose with cassis aromas and tobacco dominating. Still harsh tannin but lively acidity and decent fruit. Medium long finish. A lot better than you would expect, once the wine and above all the vintage was revealed.
