Wednesday, October 6, 2021 - Not at all what I was expecting from a “Mosel Riesling” (the brief to the wine shop) - strong tropical and peach/pear aromas and flavours. I was hoping for searing citrus and acidity… not this wine.

10/9/2021 11:08:00 AM - I knew I was going to get this comment. To be clear, the shop 100% knew the wine was from Alsace but for some reason every time I ask for a crisp citrusy Mosel Riesling, I get talked out of it because something else “fits the brief better”. It never does. Maybe Clare Valley…
