  At resataurant La Butte Plouguerneau France. decanted 30 min. blind tasting for my guest. Tasted at 14°C in Riedel glasses. As declared that is a crowed pleaser with lemon grass, babydoll plastic, clementine, mandarine, but mostly an oily and silky texture. Low potential of cellaring, a heat vintage well manage for quick pleasure.

  Acidité épicée. Vin bon mais ne vaut pas son prix : on trouve des Rieslings de même stature à 20 euros (celui-ci payé 50 euros).

  Not at all what I was expecting from a “Mosel Riesling” (the brief to the wine shop) - strong tropical and peach/pear aromas and flavours. I was hoping for searing citrus and acidity… not this wine.

  Lys med grnligt skær. Meget floral næse med hyldeblomst, lidt honning. Hyldeblomstsaft i munden, medium syre, lidt olieret. Lidt fad i smagen, ikke meget energi.
