Friday, April 12, 2024 - The densest and most concentrated Amarone I’ve tried, but so is the monumental tannic structure. They green harvest twice, takes 6-7 vines to make a single bottle. Blend of 55% Corvina, 15% Rondinella, 15% Croatina, 10% Oseleta & 5% Corvinone, 70-90 days of drying, 24 months in new US oak. Explosive intensity of kirsch, chocolate, liquorice, roasted herbal, prunes, potpourri, cigar box. Full body, dense and opulent but lighter than 2016, explosive and multidimensional, mid light acidity, sandy high grip tannins.
