Monday, December 19, 2022 - From a 375 ml bottle; Medium dark amber/burnished oak color; ripe attack with notes of macerated/stewed cherry and plum, bay leaf, dusty herbs de provence, light tobacco, tar, ash; rich creamy mouthfeel, soft tannins, balanced acidity with a little tangy and dry finish. In really good shape esp. from 375, however, just little bit gooey and sappy and a bit sweet. But just right with a spicy pepperoni pizza with bell pepper
