Monday, October 23, 2023 - Deep and brilliant ruby with magenta hints, nose is quite rustic yet with a finesse, crushed blueberries, macerated strawberries, charred bell pepper, burnt tobacco, cola, pine cones and a minty, leafy accent.
Medium bodied, energetic, quite ready, palate is juicy, with racy acidity, high minerality, integrated alcohol (13.5%), simply blue and red fruits among the peppery and earthy finish. Silky medium tannins.
Distinctive style, a producer to watch in the Loire Valley.
Drink from 2025-2030.
100% Cabernet Franc.
