Monday, December 26, 2022 - Reductive on the nose with asphalt, rubber, new leather, red cherry, strawberry, potpourri and bacon grease Lots of tension here between fruit and non fruit. Darker fruits on the palate - black cherries and blueberries, dried herbs, potpourri as well as white pepper and an intense saline note. Noticably less reductive on the palate than the nose. Medium bodied with medium + lingering tannins and a blast on salt on the finish.

Fuller bodied than Etna Rosso of comparable age. Decent; but not amazing, pairing with seared goose breast.
