Saturday, April 2, 2011 - Beautiful bouquet with good ripe cherries, dark forest fruits, some menthol, pepper and other spices. Same on the palate with good concentration, a lot of substance, sweetness and also a lot of fresh acidity and bitterness like in black chocolate. The tannin is not really round and still offers a firm bite. Juicy and a medium long finish. While being open for some hours the wine gained in complexity. Young maturity now, but better keep it for another 4 - 5 years and more complexity will probably show.
