Typical, good, if not overwhelming Bordeaux nose with dark fruit and woodiness, juicy and soft in the mouth, ends with some quite obvious and rough tannins - not unpleasant, but it will be interesting to see if it softens a bit with time. Excellent value, I think, and was very good with a simple beef meal.
