Tuesday, May 9, 2023 - THAT Rousseau night (IT Shanghai): An incredible and special bottle that is definitely at apogee. Light red in glass and rocked to an fantastic opening of with wild strawberries, blueberries, kirsh, spice, earth and dried roses. Smoke, black tea, plums and cloves come through on the palate in spades with lushness and power amidst balance and finesse. A very serious wine indeed with great concentration, a velvety/silky mouthfeel and great density. We visited this 3 hours later and was showing simply just so sensual that you just want to hug all night long.
