Showing very well today, youthful and energetic but open for business, with marvellous Amarena cherry fruit and orange zest, spices and a hint of liquorice; clear and bright style, excellent balance and freshness, elegant weight (13.5% ABV) and structure with a lovely charge of sandy tannins, outstanding length. Classic Monforte Barolo. Bravo.
