Wednesday, May 19, 2021 - Ripe, spicy black fruit. Yes, like blackberry puree with a touch of cranberry. Delicious with lamb. The tannin is ripe and fully mature and integrated with the fruit. Complex, luscious and fully mature but not far from its peak. This was #3 of 3 clos figuera I bought as an anniversary wine and the best of the three. Just as enjoyable 2nd day as first open suggesting a stable maturity.
